Gunanusa’s main forte is in the fabrication of all kinds of oil & gas platforms. It’s fabrication yard is ideally located at the western tip of the island of Java with a relatively calm water-front and a maximum low-to-high tidal variation of a mere 0.6m making it ideal for the load-out of long slender structures. The main yard has an area of 18 hectares and 800m water front equipped with two load-out jetties each with 10,000 tons capacity.
PT Gunanusa Utama Fabricators have successfully delivered more than hundreds of platforms (WHP, Process Platforms) ranging from few tons up to more than 5000 tons each. Our past projects include: offshore oil and gas platforms, process modules, skid mounted process equipments, pressure vessels and heat recovery steam generators.
ARD LOCATION
The total area is approximately 176,559 m2, located at Desa Margasari,
Kecamatan Pulo Ampel, Kabupaten Serang, Banten, Indonesia, approximately
120 km or 2 (two) hours travel by car from Jakarta.
FACILITIES
The fabrication yard has equipment and personnel necessary to received and store materials, to pre-fabricate, fabricate, erection, blasting and painting to perform pre-commissioning and load-out offshore Platforms, Decks, Jackets, Modules, Steel Structures and Process Equipment for energy related and Industrial plant project.
LABOR
Key personnel for construction and assembly by fabricated equipment & structures are recruited as required from GUNANUSA associated companies. Local craftsmen have been trained in code welding, layout and equipment operations. Labor from other areas of Indonesia has been recruited and where necessary trained to fill skilled and semi-skilled positions in the yard.
A training program for local welders, pipe fitters and other skilled crafts is conducted to ensure an adequate of skilled craftsmen.
WE have had 6500 personals working at peak period.
CONSTRUCTIONS ENGINEERING
The construction engineering team at Gunanusa yard performs the preparation of fabrication and construction drawings, which provide the base for fabrication work. They are also experienced in the design of pressure vessels and boilers, according to ASME and BS standards for load-out activities, the engineering team undertakes structural and ballast calculations to ensure a smooth and safe operation.
To support the engineering activities, Gunanusa utilizes a number of engineering software namely SACS (structure), Caesar (piping), Drafting Machine, AutoCAD, PDMS Modeling and PDMS Review, PV Elite (pressure vessel), Finglow (pressure vessel), A0 Plotter HP Design Jet, etc.
We also have a comprehensive engineering library (FTP soft copy) of engineering dossiers, as-built documents, procedures, standards, etc to speed up the engineering process.
